Many readers believe that their favorite authors live a life of focused writing. Even I have that fantasy – about other writers.¬† Yes, there are some best-selling authors who have done so well that they can really devote their entire day to writing. They know that this is a job, a business, and that you have to put your butt in the chair and write…all day, if possible. There are some who know me who are surprised to find that I write Romance novels. But they shouldn’t be. I’ve always been interested in people and their emotions, the inner workings of the mind and personality. I majored in Psychology and Anthropology in college, and although my career path didn’t lead me into those disciplines, I’ve used them repeatedly to help me understand my co-workers, my clients, my family.
